Wonderful reading.

Like every one of his books, this is a Rood masterpiece. In this book, as in all of his books, Mr. Rood brings us close to the animals he knows so well, so that we may truly see them as brothers of ourselves. His warmth, wit and knowledge are freely and pleasantly shared through every page of his delightful prose. If you cannot be, in person, where Mr. Rood's 'wild brothers' roam, reading his thoughtful accounts of their lives and his experiences among them will surely bring you, in your imagination, right to the doorsteps of their borrows, nests and dens.
