Wilbur and Orville Wright made history when they flew their motor-powered Flyer for twelve seconds on December 17, 1903. Although Orville was the first to fly the plane, the brothers shared credit for the historic flight as they shared everything -- their home, business, plans for the future, and even a bank account.
