Wicked Hot

Edana is a succubus, a woman who forfeited her soul and now incites men to lust, feeding off them and claiming their souls for the devil. When he sends her to seduce a Nephilim she's scared to death, and knows she probably won't make it out of this assignment without being banished. Eli is a Nephilim, a half-human, half-immortal warrior who binds, and then banishes demons. He's not really sure what to do with the succubus who appears by his cabin, so he binds her until he decides how to best handle the situation. But when Eli and Edana get back to Eli's cabin, Edana finds there is another Nephilim, Eli's brother, Dal. That there are two Nephilim is huge news to her, since she'd thought the warriors were extinct, until she heard about Eli. Eli decides Edana will be the perfect training tool for his brother, who needs to learn to control his lust. A succubus can't claim a soul unless there's lust involved. The bound demon now has two immortal lovers, and no soul to claim. Not yet anyway. And falling in love with one of the warriors wasn't in her plans. Wicked Hot is just that: a hot and wicked read. I absolutely fell in love with Edana, Eli and Dal, and the very nasty ways they worked together. This story isn't just about sex, though. Edana's story pulled at my heartstrings, and the delicious Nephilim did the same thing. Ms. Teglia pulled me in from the first page and didn't let go of me until the last. If you like your romance all spiced up, than this tale is for you. It has definitely found a spot on my keeper shelf. Amelia Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

wickedly hot romantic fantasy

As a Saxon, Edana killed a Norman in 1066, damning her to hell. When Nick makes her a succubus; for centuries her whole being enticed men into giving up their souls for a chance to have sex with her. She never has sex because she drains her victims before they can do the deed; so she remains a virgin because before she was one a when she was a human. This time when she returns to Nick he has a special assignment waiting for her. He want the succubus to destroy the Nephilim, the beings born between the mating of angels and human females. They were destroyed by the Flood, but they are back to restore the balance between humanity and a surplus of demons. Eli has the power to conjure and bind the demon to him so that she must do what he says or be punished in the Void of nothingness. When Edana meets Eli and his brother Del, she learns the Nephilim are given another chance to protect humanity from the overabundance of demons. However Edana has feelings for Eli, but their relationship seems doomed from the start because if she succeeds on her mission he is doomed; while if he succeeds on his mission she is doomed. This wickedly hot romantic fantasy is filled with sexual encounters of all kind including ménage a trois and light bondage that enhance the intriguing story line. The Nephilim are being tested to see if they control their lust while Edana is the target of all sides as the lure. The dilemma of loving the enemy is devilishly designed in Charlene Teglia's evocative XXX supernatural romance. Harriet Klausner

Read further to find out what happens when a succubus comes into contact with a sexy Nephilim. The results are guaranteed to be WICKED HOT. Edana is a succubus and she is excellent at her job of collecting souls for her boss Nick, the devil. Her primary way of gaining souls for the underworld is by draining individual's during sexual contact. Her body is primed, pumped, and ready for any assignment or so she thinks until Nick gives her his latest assignment - she is to steal the soul and essence of a man named Eli Moss, a half human/half angel warrior known as a Nephilim. Edana has doubts about this being an easy job but since she is a succubus and in the employ of the devil she is left little choice and refusal is not an option. Meeting the virile man for the first time, Edana is stunned at his raw sex appeal and before she knows it the Eli has cast a binding spell on her which binds her to him until he says otherwise. Nick, her boss, is not happy. Eli Moss does not know why the beautiful but deadly succubus demon has sought hi out but he isn't taking any chances. With a binding spell Eli enchants the lovely demon to him so that he can find out what she hopes to accomplish by invading his privacy. Eli enlists the aid of his brother Dal in keeping his demon occupied and until he figures out what to do with her. When he does, the results are combustible. When asked to review WICKED HOT by Charlene Teglia I was thrilled to death and had not even read the blurb. I didn't need to because having read Charlene Teglia before I knew WICKED HOT would be a hot read. Hot is too tame a word to use to describe this book because this novel was scorching hot from the first scene until the last. Eli and Adana's relationship was complicated and motional. Their attraction was established and the feelings each felt for the other was not and it was the road in which they traveled that made me smile in glee at the book's end. Scorching hot, enticingly erotic, and devilishly wicked, WICKED HOT held me spellbound and gasping for more. I adored this decadent read!

Wicked Hot is smoldering!

Wicked Hot Charlene Teglia The beautifully seductive Edana is a succubus cursed to wander the earth feeding off and cursing human souls. Having died after committing the mortal sin of murder, Edana now is under the power of the devil himself. The irony of her current status is that when she died, she was still a virgin, and now, she can't seem to complete the deed without draining the human men in her way. Then she's assigned to seduce Eli and Dal, two brothers with superhuman strength and her prospects start looking up. She just might experience an orgasm after all. That is, if she's not slain first. Eli the warrior and Dal the teacher are two Nephilim living a quiet existence in Washington. The Nephilim are ancient creatures born of angel fathers and human mothers. Thought to be extinct, they have lived under the demons' radar. Until now. Because good and evil is rapidly losing its precarious balance, Eli has begun conjuring, binding and banishing demons into the void of nonexistence. Likewise, Dal has been teaching young witches the lost art of good magic. Edana soon finds herself in the Nephilim household, sharing domestic duties and find her way into bed. With both of them. Sex with the brothers is cosmically blissful but in no time, she starts to experience another emotion, one wholly unfamiliar to her. Eli, with his Alpha strength and smoldering intensity, unwittingly sends the sexy succubus headlong into the arms of love. Will she be able to complete her nefarious mission, or will she allow herself to trust the man who can free her from the curse that bound her many years ago? Having read many of Ms. Teglia's previous novels, it was a no-brainer to read Wicked Hot. However, after having read this book, it must be said that Wicked Hot isn't as good as the rest of her stories. It's better. In fact, I'll go out on a limb here to say that this book has to be the best novel she's written. Engrossed from the first page, I didn't let go until the last word was read. Kept on the edge of my seat, it was never quite apparent how this story would end until I read the words. It's always good writing to have a strong, Alpha hero and a feisty, intelligent heroine. Add realistic internal and external conflict, stir and bake. Eli and Edana are choice ingredients for this recipe of dark, edgy romance. Add in Dal and you have a story so hot, you need oven mitts to turn the pages. The characters were well developed, the story line fast paced, the passion intense and the sex absolutely nuclear. Forget the ice cubes, head straight to the Arctic Circle, and make sure you have a couple of hours blocked in your schedule. Once you pick up Wicked Hot and start reading, you won't be doing anything else until you've finished.

Wicked Hot - Very aptly named!!!

What is a succubus to do when she finds herself bound to the very man who is the object of her current assignment? Scratch that - not man, Nephilim. No ordinary mortal could have snared a demon of Edana's class with so little trouble. Nor could any other man withstand the lustful temptation that Edana presents. Edana is determined to fulfill her assignment to seduce her captor, and being bound to Eli turns out to not quite the hardship she'd have expected - especially when she finds herself lost to the sensuality that both Eli and his brother Dal overwhelm her with so easily. But soon she begins to lose sight of her task, risking the wrath of the devil himself and, more dangerously, her own heart. WICKED HOT is the most perfect name for Charlene Teglia's newest July 2008 release with St. Martin's Griffin! This fiery little romance practically explodes with the heat of the passion that consumes Eli, Edana, and Dal. The trick of it is, neither Eli nor Dal can afford to give in to lust. They can have passion, they can make love, they can even engage in straight-up, no holds-barred sex marathons. They just can't lose control. Of course, making them lose control is Edana's number one priority. Well, it WAS her number one priority... Right up until she started experiencing those little miracles they call `orgasms' at the hand of the two irresistible brothers. We shouldn't like Edana. She's a demon, right? And as the book begins, she's the wrong kind of demon, bent on the destruction of the good guys. From the very first page, however, it is impossible to dislike our heroine, no matter that she is a soul-snatching succubus of the highest order. She combines sarcastic quips with a matter-of-fact approach to her goal in a way that you have to admire. Yes, she is out to ruin Eli and Dal in the beginning, but she is up front about her intentions from the start. She's kind of a demonic Jessica Rabbit with her "I'm not bad; I'm just drawn that way" attitude. Edana is what she is, and that is a succubus. Perhaps the fact that the story is told from her point of view, also has something to do with her likability. Edana owns this story. Yes, Eli and Dal play a huge part in it, but you find yourself completely immersed in Edana's mind, her heart. You experience her eventual metamorphosis along with her as she evolves from the devil's minion into a being who actually loves. And who wouldn't fall for either Eli or Dal? Alone, either of these heroes would be enough to send a girl's emotions reeling out of control, but together? Total sensory overload! Maybe it's that strange little side-effect that physical contact with a Nephilim seems to have... Can it actually work through the pages of a book, I wonder? *grin* I mentioned earlier that neither Eli nor Dal can give in to their lust, and they do maintain control of their passion. What amazed me, however, is that the author managed to convey the depth of their need for Edana even
