Good motivation for new investors

This book is a good tool to get readers into the investment mentality. Though more of a philosophy about why you should try to be rich, it does offer real life examples from the two authors. The book is framed as Kiyosaki speaking first, then Trump giving his advice on the same topic. It is a quick enjoyable read.

muy bueno para aprender como estos personajes se han hecho ricos, pero sobre todo para aprender a tomar control sobre nuestras vidas financieras y a sacarle probecho a las cosas que hemos hecho durante nuestra infancia, ninez, adolecencia y madurez. Aparte tambien para transmitir estos mensajes a las nuevas generaciones para que no cometan los errores que nos han llevado a estar hoy dia en la carrera de la rata. Para mi es mas aun una nueva inspiracion y motivacion para seguir adelante con mi sueno de superacion financiera y personal.

Cambiar para ganar

La economia del mundo se encuentra en cambio constante, si deseamos GANAR en este cambio y no quedarnos atras, Robert T Kiyosaki y Donald Trump nos llevan a traves de sus preocupaciones y nos enseñan soluciones para poder llegar hacia donde queremos, la libertad financiera. Cada dia la brecha entre los ricos y los pobres se hace más grande. ¿En que lado te gustaría estar? "Queremos que seas rico" te cambiará la percepción acerca del dinero y como puedes aportar para erradicar la pobreza.

Meeting of the rich minds that should meet yours.

I have to admit that this was my first introduction to Robert Kiyosakis writing. I have to say that I was very impressed by the way he tells things in stories and explains things in detail. Then on the other hand you have the Trump perspective on the same issue as just described by Kioysaki, with the classic to the point very short and effective Trump wording. Once again this book could be used for much more than just investing tips and understanding the difference between those who make it and those who don't. This book could be used to grow both personally and professionally. As a life and executive coach many of the things they talk about in this book are things that I work with small business owners and managers doing. Just a different angle on the how to break free of misconceptions that are known as: "common sense". Just like with many of the other Trump books this is not a step-by-step guide on how to become rich. From what I have now looked through of Kiyosakis books, they are not a step-by-step guide either. Even though they give you more of a guideline and teach you direct things on what to do and more importantly on how to think and break free of how most people do think. The differences that struck me the most in this book is how the mindset of people that do make it is different from those who do not. It was a very entertaining and educating read, and I personally learned some new things from it that I have implemented not only into my daily life but also my businesses. The way the two use different approaches to the same topic opens up a whole new world of understanding, that is, if you do not quite get what the first part (Kiyosaki) is trying to explain the second part (Trump) will give the abbreviated version of it. Technically you could go though this book and read only one of the authors part and then read the second part as a second book. For it to make the most sense I would recommend that you go through it all at one time though. Excellent book that I would recommend for more than just investors, would recommend it for entrepreneurs, people wanting to grow personally and professionally. If you are ready to shift the way you think in order to shift how you are doing financially this is a great buy!

It's about the basics

I am only writing this review because there are so many undeservedly bad reviews on this book. This book is about why Trump and Kiosaki want people to be rich- It's not a book on how to get rich. It's a good book to read if you view money and wealth as "evil" or have some knee-jerk reaction against the thought of being filthy disgustingly rich, or tend to dispise rich people Part one talks about what being rich is (suprisingly it is not when your paychecks or savings accounts are huge) and why it's important to be their definition of rich- We no longer live in a world where America is the economic super power. Unless drastic changes are made by the American public, our kids will be living in a world where everyone wants to go to China and India to chase the "American Dream" Part Two discusses three types of investors and why it's important to be the right type of investor. It gives some insight into what gambling is and what investing is. It also talks about why saving money is not smart Part Three talks about personal life lessons both these men have learned in their quest to create wealth. It also talks about their philosophies on God Religion and Money. It also talks about their experiences in the military. Parts Four and Five is the FAQ part of the book where they give their wise (but not too specific here's what you should do) answers- questions like I am a baby boomer what should I do? I am a college student what should I do? Should I invest in real estate? I am broke and close to homeles what should I do? This book is the one to start with if you've never read any books by these guys- They plug their other books, but this book contains the essence of their other books(although I highly recomend all of kiyosaki's books)

Books Don't Change Things

The more I read Trump (and the less I look at his hair), the more I truly admire his simple truths. I've read a half dozen Kiyosaki's books and I think his best work is the one on the cash flow quadrant (yes, it's a little painful at first, but when you get it - you really get it). They do revisit that near the end of this one. And I'm glad they do; because it's just that important Anyway this new book is an important one on your bookshelf because what I took away from it was (from my reading) three primary concerns: 1) our middle class is shrinking, 2) getting rich is not risky - it's a matter of having a plan & managing the plan, 3) the path to getting rich is "wealth education" Although the middle class commentary is illuminating, nothing is truer than just making yourself smarter about your money. I hope you are taking every advantage of building your wealth - you deserve it, and your family deserves. BTW, I want you to be rich too. There absolutely no reason you can't be. My wife and I are quickly approaching an important fork in our wealth-building where our money will soon be making more money than we do (which includes our two salaries and retirement check). I recommend the book because it's not a checklist for specific investments, its a mindset - a way of thinking. I think you'll find it motivating like I did. As a training manager, I always believe that education and training is the answer. I know that books don't change things. But good books change people - and smart people change things. If you read it deeply enough, and think about it strong enough, you can make it happen - well enough.
