Climactic ending to a genuinely good series.

In this book Snicket feels older. Not much time has passed but his actions, the stakes, and even the ending leaves the reader feeling like Snicket's first ride into stain'd by the sea was years ago. I loved the tense moments and deep conversations the characters had in this one. 10/10!!!
