An indepth look at the problems of a fatherless society--ours!

Doug Stringer is the president of Turning Point Ministries International, which founded Somebody Cares. In his book Who's Your Daddy Now? Stringer takes a hard look at the fatherless world that we've created and declares that it's an epidemic that impacts every person and every area of society. Stringer's passion is to restore the fatherless people who are struggling to survive. The answer, according to Stringer is to receive the love of a father-The Father. Divorce and subsequent abandonment of children by their fathers is contributing to increased pregnancy, abortion, alcohol and drug addiction rates and more divorce and abandonment. Our country is now a `double generation' of fatherless people (50-60 %) and the world will and is suffering as a result. The solution is the love of a father. We've lost our way and are losing our moral and spiritual values which will further contribute to more fatherless children and more societal problems. Stringer knows that not everyone will be able to have a healthy earthly father to help guide them through life, but he does know that there are programs to help people and there is God the Father and His Spirit of Adoption is possible and necessary. He loves us, accepts us and embraces us, no matter whom we are or what we've done. I strongly suggest reading Who's Your Daddy Now? for an indepth look at the problems of a fatherless society. It's heartbreaking. But then continue to read-for the hope and the solutions for a healed world. If we all responded to Stringer's book, we could have a good beginning of a healing process.
