English Language Learners

This book is an excellent classroom resource for young school-age English Language Learners (ELLs). Once it has been read a few times, the ELLs can apply the question using new and personal information. The neat thing about using this book with beginner ELLs is that they are able to quickly begin using it on their own for practice. I have bought all the books in the series to teach beginner ELLs.

A great farm book to share with your little one

My 2 year old daughter loved this book from the moment she got it. She loves farm animals and there are lots of sturdy flaps for her to explore her. Each page gives you three lift the flap clues to a farm animals identy and then on the opposite page you can lift a large flap to reveal the animal in question. I like this book because it teaches more than just the animals name. It gets your little one thinking about such questions as where the animal lives and what it eats. The illustrations look like charming paintings. This is a book both my daughter and I can love.
