I wanted to add to my original review but couldn't, so here's an additional note(!). Note to myself: Delete cookies if you find you can't edit a review.... (That's one annotation to your book - Luke!) Just to add, the book is a superb gift idea for family and friends, provided others are aware they could be subjected to the psychiatrist chair after, for laughing too much.
You had noticed those signs but not really looked at them until you've read 'Who Writes This Crap'

I was at the book launch so I've got the hardback copy and saw Luke Wright did his stage performance before tentatively opening the pages to find the contents of the book hilarious! 'The News Everyone loves The News!! Oi! Oi!' (p18:02) Just too brilliant to mention, you'll be rippling at the seams with laughter as you see quotes/articles/headlines/schedules that have you 'in stitches' way into the early hours of the morning if you're a 'night owl' or before the crack of dawn, you'll be reaching for your hankies and sniffling into it with tears of laughter/joy/bizarre amazement. In that moment of bemusement, when you read the articles/notes/schedules/notices, the first thing that comes to mind is, 'yeah, I've noticed signs/posters/notices/schedules like the ones in the book, hilariously reconstructed, and then begin to see why you thought them bizarrely humorous, according to the book of 'Who Writes This Crap'. (In Mitchell and Webb style) Luke Wright is a known poet in the UK; he is extremely funny and now a regular poet on BBC Radio 4. The book is, 'Definitely not...an absolute waste of time' (Platform). You have to read this book even if it means seeing a psychiatrist after.
