I Liked This Book!!

I liked this book because it's a good mystery. It's about a girl named Becky who gets accused of stealing The Wizard of Oz and four other rare books from the library. She and her brother Toby set out to find the real thief. I really liked reading it because I was curious and anxious to find out what would happen next. I can't tell you any more because I don't want to spoil it for you.

the best book

The book Who Stole the Wiazarad of oZ was a good book because it knows how to set you up for a myster. It was also about the librarian blaming Becky for stealing the Wizard of oZ.Becky knows that she did not steal the five rare books. They were Through the looking glass,Winnie the pooh,Alice in wonderland,Wizard of oZ.

THIEF! THIEF!

I've always known Avi was a fabulous author. Who Stole the Wizard of Oz proved that to me once again. Becky, who is in 6th grade, is accused of stealing 5 rare books from the library. She claims she didn't do it and her twin brother Toby believes her, but how can they prove it? They think that if they can solve a certain kind of puzzle they might be able to catch the thief. With its suspense and creativity you can't dislike this story. A lot of mysteries are good but in my opinion this is one of the best chil- dren's mysteries out there. Once you start reading you can't stop. This book is very cleverly written. Whenever Avi can he throws in puzzles for you to solve or for you to wonder about. You don't need the illustrations to give you a picture of what is going on, but the outstanding drawings give you an even better picture of what is going on. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a fast moving, intriguing mystery. I think many young readers will enjoy this book for generations.
