Eye-Opening

I recently gained access to this book through my library's inter-library loan system and thoroughly enjoyed it.One key point Don Aslett mentions is that one of the # 1 reasons that most women seem to, well, get "stuck" with the job of cleaning, etc. is that it's due to tradition. The woman's mother/grandmother had that job, so it was naturally expected that her daughter/granddaughter would follow suit.I applaud you men out there who have stepped up to the plate and are contributing to helping your wives out because it is quite a job to try to tackle maintaining a home while taking care of the children and everything else that comes with it.Unfortunately, I cannot get my husband to even read any excerpts from this book, and when I mention the title around males, I get the (you guessed it) "Are you pointing a finger at me?!" look. One key phrase in the book is: "If you're old enough to mess it up, then you're old enough to clean it up!"
