A gentle introduction to anatomy

My daughter loves this book! It's a great way to introduce young kids to male and female body parts, both internal and external. This part of the book is really only 4 pages, with the rest focusing on body parts that are the same for most people (2 eyes, 2 ears, etc.) The book is set in the context of a family going to the beach, with simplified drawings of anatomy when the kids are changing. It's a very gentle introduction, but helpful in normalizing anatomical names for some body parts. I love that the illustrations feature a mixed race family, with additional diversity in the background characters. The pictures also have funny details, like a seagull stealing a sandwich, that make this book fun to read.
