A Dreamy Winter Tale

We borrowed this beautiful book from our local library during the winter months, and our daughter wanted to read it again and again. The watercolor illustrations are gorgeous and capture perfectly the quiet wonder of a child's journey on a winter's day. The publisher reviews seem to downplay the text, but I think the story cleverly summarizes the joy of gifts given and received.
