ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES!!

The White Rose is one of the first romance novels I ever read (about 12 years ago). I am now and avid romance reader and writer and it is STILL in my top two! The heroine is beautful, strong, indepenant, and adventurous - everything us women want to be. The hero is powerful, humorous, caring, and absolutely drop dead gorgeous - everything we women want to see. :) The two face danger time and time again having no one to turn to but each other. I didn't want this story to ever end. I kept putting it down so I wouldn't get to the end too fast. I day dreamed about it for days, weeks even! You don't want to miss this one! IF you can get your hands on a copy (since it's out of print) DO! If I could give this book a 6 out of 5, I would.

Excellent

I have read all of the Fire Trilogy Series and they all get a 5 star review from me. It's really a shame that these books are no longer in print. Because for people who enjoy reading Historal Romances will be missing out on 3 excellent books.

White rose was the best of the white flower trilogy.

Linda Ladd writes a wonderful story line with great detail and handsome heroes. Of the triology (white lily, white rose, white orchid) I enjoyed this one the best. It was good enough that I went in search of the first (lily) and the final one (orchid). Surprising the 3 books have the same characters interwoven but the story line is quite different. I think her strength is her endings as the story line gets stronger as it goes along. Anyhow I recommend this one if you want a great civil war era read.
