Book Overview

Never have the stakes been higher. Never have two people faced greater risks or grappled with deeper desire. Never has Cherry Adair-award-winning author of Hot Ice-burned the pages with so much... This description may be from another edition of this product.

Cherry Adair is by far one of my most highly recommended authors.

I absolutely LOVE Cherry Adair and her writings of the men of t-flac. I am not at all one of those people who thought I would be enticed by a book that thought they could bring action AND heart-warming romance all in one book. Lord was I surprised to find that she could do both, without boring me to death. And if that wasn't enough, she has the decency not to degrade the greatness of her book with words like 'mound', 'honey pot', or something else of that matter. My favorites, and I am one to be bias, have got to be In Too Deep, and Kiss And Tell. Now those ARE books to keep close to the heart. The Edge books I would tell you brought me some amount of pleasure, but not as greatly as the rest of her writings. If you were looking for devistating paranormal romance, you would be disappointed that this series is not very much different than the rest besides the minor capabilities that the men have, apart from the others. Though these are still books to be remembered. Let us make sure Cherry knows how happy she has made all us love-sick puppies in the world. If not for writers like her, there would never have been life to Michael, nor would he have found comfort in a woman whom he met looking dreadfully like a drowned rat. We love you, Cherry.

I really enjoy her T-Flac books!! Keep them coming!!

I love Adair's T-Flac books. I love the action and the hot hot heroes!! When is the next one coming?

Cherry Adair does it again!

I have been reading Cherry's books since her first Harlequin, Mercenary and have loved all of them. White Heat does not disappoint! Max Aries had an affair with Emily Greene the year before when he was on an assignment. His father, who he is estranged from, was her mentor and it looks like he's been murdered. Emily has had three attempts on her life and she and Max are on the run. White Heat is a terrific romantic suspense. It's a non stop thrill ride through the world of art restorers, Europe, the U.S. and of course T-FLAC. The chemistry between Emily and Max sizzles and the twists and turns of the story will keep you on your toes. Great book! I can't wait until the next one!

EDGE BROTHERS

I'M A AA WOMAN AND I LOVE MY BLACK AUTHORS BUT MRS.ADAIR HAS IT GOING ON WHEN IT COMES TO THE T-FLAC MEN ONE WORD HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Fans of fast-paced romantic suspense thrillers

Art restorer Emily Greene is stunned with the death of her beloved mentor, Daniel Aries. When it is officially declared a suicide, she feels guilty that she was not there for her beloved Daniel, who was sort of like a kindhearted father to her and she cared for him as "daughter" should be for her "father".;She blames herself for not knowing he was despondent. Daniel's estranged son, T-FLAC (Terrorist Force Logistic Assault Command) agent Max Aries visits Emily, who hates him for running away from her love. Based on a pencil sketch he found in his father's studio he insists someone, most likely from the Black Rose terrorist cell, murdered his dad because of some nefarious renaissance art restoration activity. She fears being near Max, as she is not sure she can recover when he breaks her heart again as Daniel is no longer there to help her. However, more related murders occur along with bombings leaving Max and Emily knowing they can trust no one except each other. Although the WHITE HEAT romance ignites the pages, the story line focuses on the investigation that turns into counterterrorism efforts. Surprisingly, with kudos to Cherry Adair's talent, the torrid love scenes do not intrude, but enhance the suspense elements. Fans of fast-paced romantic suspense thrillers will want to read the second T-FLAC tale (see HOT ICE) because the action keeps on coming. Harriet Klausner
