a welcome help for the hard-working pastor or church secretary

I've relied on Lavon Bayler's liturgical resources for years in putting together worship bulletins to coordinate with my lectionary-based sermons. I haven't found another author who manages to consistently provide original, scripturally-related, and evocative prayers and responses for each Sunday of the church year, and all of it using inclusive language to refer to humanity. Even though these older volumes are based on the older version of the Revised Common Lectionary, the changes between the older and newer versions of the lectionary readings are usually so small that these older materials (available used at bargain prices) are still very usable.
