This was the first book I purchased about making whirligigs. Anders Lunde from North Carolina is a legend in the wood crafting world. This book has numerous designs with patterns and illustrates how to carve propellers and bird wings. Gives the "secrets" of the old timers about making your wind art come to life. I've built many of the designs in the book and they are fun to build and work well.

A good book, but, could use a little more detail. Following the instructions, I ended having to modify to make my projects work. It is full of ideas. you just need to put them to work.
