Lasting Love

I laughed until I cried. Aunt Maudie took in both Julian Lord and Callie Marcus when their parents more of less abandoned them, as well as Brutus a lovable St. Bernard who Callie and Aunt Maudie treated like he was human. Callie loved the sweet disorganized lady to the point that she took on Aunt Maudie's scattiness. Julian decided after Maudie's death he would straighten out Callie with the help of his rules. But he ended up bowing to the inevitable, and love took control of both his will and his rules.
