I Could Hardly Put it Down

I love to read first person accounts of travel to remote places, especially countries of the former Soviet Union, the Balkans and the Middle East. This book covers several of those areas and it's so well written and interesting that I didn't want to finish it. I love the author's writing style and humor, and it was so refreshing to read a travel book from an author who isn't a leftist! Highly recommend!!
