I have worked as an interpretive wildlife ecologist in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem for many years. I read and research many sources for accurate information. Bruce L. Smith has produced an unparalleled resource on elk ecology and elk management issues. This book was excellent - and it was brilliantly written! I am already shopping for my next book by this author.
