Ran across this book by a local author and bought it for a young friend of mine... This is a great read for junior high/ high schoolers, and I (32) also enjoyed it thoroughly! Not only is the main plot engaging, but some of the on-the-side goings-on are hilariously described and had me laughing out loud in public. This is the kind of book where you find yourself paging back to re-read certain parts after your mind puts more pieces of the mystery together. Would also be excellent to read and discuss for an English class (can you tell I'm a teacher?)... Highly recommended for anybody over about 11 or so!

I would've given it 4.5 stars, but wasn't an option. Overall its a good book and i liked it. After getting involved in the plot, I couldnt put it down. With many unexpected twists and a mystery going back to the creation of the town of Flint (the town where the story takes place) I reccomend it to anyone over 10 or so. -Paul H
