A lively and inquisitive young girl named Hope has a favorite pastime: asking questions. She asks everyone she knows just about anything. One day her musings lead her to a really big question: Where does God live? She talks to her mom. She questions her animal friends. Finally, it is her wise and gentle grandmother whose lifetime of faith offers Hope, the answer that she and all of us can take into our hearts. It is an answer whose simplicity does honor to the Creator.
This book is wonderful! I have read it hundreds of times to my 2 and 4 year old. It's rhyming text keeps kids interested. As the name implies, it explores the question of whether God lives in the beautiful ocean, the sky, etc. Ultimately it teaches that God is everywhere and in everyone. I would recommend this book to anyone. I have purchased it for several friends as well.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST CHILDREN BOOKS I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF READING TO MY CHILD. IT ANSWERS QUESTIONS THE WAY CHILDREN CAN UNDERSTAND. MS. BEA HAS DONE A WONDERFUL JOB AND HER TALENT IS UNPERCEIVABLE. I HAVE READ ALL OF HER OTHER WORK AND HAVE BEEN EQUALLY AS PLEASED.

I bought this book to use with my class at church. The children loved the beautiful story and the simple message. My class ranges in age from 2 years old to 7 years old, and they all truly enjoyed the book. I would recommend this book to anyone with a curious child or questions of their own about God and his place in the universe. A wonderful addition to any library.
I highly recommend this book for parents of young children!

This is a sweet, touching story of a young girl's search for answers about God. Holly Bea explains His presence in words that young children can understand. A beautifully written and illustrated book that I bought in preparation for starting a family. I've read it to other adults who get tears in their eyes when they hear the story. It is THAT good!
I loved this story.

"Where Does God Live" was a charming book that left me smiling after reading it to my nieces age 4 and 7. The text was sweet; the pictures were colorful and original. I especially appreciated how the narrative opened the door to dialogue and discussion amongst us three gals. I can't think of a better gift for a child than an opportunity to explore spirituality through color and verse. And, I can't imagine how anyone would be disappointed in this gift to a child's library or their own.
