Kara was abandoned by her mother and left on the steps of an orphanage at three weeks of age. Her early life was very challenging...in and out of foster homes but nowhere did she find a place to truly call home. At the age of 15, she was adopted by the Nolan's, a seemingly loving couple, and she did her best to fit in. However, not everything is as it seems. Jane Mathews, the lawyer, takes Kara into her home after paying bail, while she prepares the case for trial. She does this because she believes in Kara more than Kara believes in herself. Is Kara innocent or guilty? Why is someone so eager to see her jailed for the crime?
