Eye Opening

This is the most eye opening book I have ever read. I have attended church and read Christian books all of my life but none of it actually changed the way I think as this book has. It is profound yet practical all at the same time. I cannot stand self-help books, and this most certainly is not. I could not put the book down, I read it in two days from cover to cover, then read it again.

Required reading

Pastor Gray's book is a thought-provoking, scripturally sound and practical guide for all who are seeking a genuine, life-changing move of God in their church. It takes the guesswork out of preparing hearts and congregations for revival. Should be required reading for all pastors and church leaders!

WOW !

this is an amazing book - pastor steve gives a wonderful account of what this revival means and also what to expect - this book also presents some of the fundamental doctrines that smithton community church believes - a truly amazing book that will make you want to keep reading !

What evereyone is looking for in the search for god face.

This is one of the greats. Pastor Steve brings the word of God to you in such a manner that there is life in his words. This is not a self help book, it has made the word of God real to ME.

A book of straighforward truth seasoned with life and hope.

Having heard Steve Gray speak on 4 different visits to Smithton, I wondered if his book could capture the same fire I witnessed in person. ----- It does!An honest, sometimes stinging assesment of typical Christian life today, this book does not leave you in a state of despair, but rather one of hope, longing for more contact with the true life and power of the living God. It would not be an overstatement to say that all who consider themselves Christians of any denomination should read this book. Honest seekers of truth from any persuasion would also find this an interesting read. The message coming from this small country church in the tiny town of Smithton , Missouri (pop.532) is life-giving and life-changing. Don't miss out on this one!
