Dark Suspense

This is a very Dark Hard Hitting Horror Suspense, and this is the second book in the Home Street Home Series. I have read and reviewed the first book in this series before picking up this book, but I do not think you have to read the first book before picking up this book. I do think if you had read the first book it would put it together for you. This book is not for all readers, and there is a ton of things that can trigger a reader some are (rape of child, child abuse, killing). This book is hard to read at times, and I feel the story did not really pick up until the end of the book. I did enjoy seeing some of the characters for the other books. This book's timeline goes back over some of the same things that happen in the first book, but it is for a different character's point of view. That is not my favorite thing. I do think that overall this is a well written book that will stay with you for a long time. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
