What a great combination of illustration and words!

I was given this book as a gift and have given it over and over. If there is a better book that celebrates the wonder of being a grandparent or grandchild I don't know what it is!

One of my favorite things about this book is that it creates a special time for me to spend reading with my grandson. The author has placed great importance on being a grandparent. As you open the book you will find all the possible names for grandma....The watercolor illustrations are humorous and full of action. You'll want to spend time just looking at all the details. The rhymes make it fun to read aloud. And just when you think the story is over you will find one more surprise and that is a page where you can put your grandma's picture and a place for fun information about her. This book will become a treasured keepsake!!! It would make a great gift for a new grandma...
