Death is Quinton Richardson, also known as Que. a former Navy SEAL who is still affected by a past event. He joins the Kansas City mob as a hitman after leaving the military. Apart from murdering people, Que leads a simple and peaceable life. That is, until he encounters Raven Arce, a stunning woman who is the only survivor of a massacred family. Que saves Raven from a deadly situation against his better judgment, and as a result, his life is turned around. Because there is now a bounty on Que's head, he changes from being the hunter to the prey.

Domo, a merciless gangster who kills anyone who stands in his way, rules the inner city. Que and Raven recently appeared on that list. Domo now wants them killed. Que and Raven rapidly discover that no place is safe for them, despite the fact that he has an army at his disposal and assistance from a very strong ally. Additionally, they learn that someone hates them even more than Domo does.

It seems like love is battling to kill him and Raven just as quickly as Que is fighting to keep them alive.
