Not A Book?

I truly enjoyed this book. What made it better is that I bought it new this year from Books-a-Million and they claimed it wasn't a book, so I got a discount! Regardless of the fact that it has been sitting around BAM for a long time, it is a wonderful tale and can be enjoyed by readers of fantasy. This is the story of Kiera, a young woman with visions and dreams who is sold by her father to a random traveling soldier. Although she is against this, she goes along with it because in her society women have fewer right. She soon steals men's clothes and leaves her husband, but they share thoughts while apart, and she meets interesting characters from different cultures before re-encountering her husband during a war. This is a tale of adventure, culture, love and magic. A wonderful tale.

Amazing first novel!

This is a wonderful book. It's hard to believe this is a first novel! The characters and setting are vivid and believable. This one immediately went on the shelf I reserve for my favorites. I have reread it many times and the only flaw is that there is no sequel. I love these character and want to know what happens next!!!

Wonderful, facinating read

I truly liked this book, and the thought of a sequel is what led me to check online in the hopes that one had appeared. I didn't think it was slow, the separation of the main characters led to the suspense and true happiness as the end of the novel better that any faster moving novel I have read. I recommend this book fully.

Fabulous book I was amazed it was her first novel!!!!!!

I am an Avid fantasy reader and it is among one of the best I've ever read, and for it to be her first Amazed me greatly. Wonderfull love story(thats what I realy go for in a book or any story), in all the books I have read this one had one of the most intriguing and unusuall plots. It was a tad bit gory but its realy refreshing to know she dosn't hid that kind of stuff and I don't beleive it would have as good if she had cut that out. Note to Auther PLEASE WRITE A SEQUEL I'm hanging here.
