A great informative book about Hindu traditions

It is not very often that one comes across a book about Hindu religion written by practicing Hindus, who have a complete understanding of Hindu philosophy and traditions. "What You Will See Inside a Hindu Temple" is like a breath of fresh air. Written in a simple and straightforward manner, the book demystifies, what may at times appear as complex, Hindu tradition and thought. It also sets right many, widely held stereotypical beliefs and gross misrepresentations about Hindu religion. Well researched and wholesome, this book is an excellent introduction to the world's oldest religion. A "must have" for school libraries and class rooms where world religion is taught.

The book by Dr. Mahendra Jani depicts accurately what a person sees inside a Hindu Temple. The book has been well researched and lucid in details. The pictures by Neirah Bhargava and Vijay Dave are eye pleasing. To any one who would like to know what one sees inside a Hindu Temple this book is an accurate and very informative source. It is very highly recommended

What you Will See Inside a Hindu Temple, is a great book accurately relaying the workings of a Hindu temple. Although labeled a children's book, I think this is an excellent book for all ages bringing to light many fundamental concepts of Hinduism. Its great for parents who want to teach their growing children the practices of Hinduism, as well as those of us that want to know the reasoning behind the many practices of a Hindu temple. Its strength lies in its simple and concise language along with beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this book to all those who want to learn about Hinduism, as well as those who want to learn more and reaffirm their beliefs!
