Great resource

This book is a great resource that gives a counselor concrete activities to do with youngsters that help them begin analyzing their way of thinking. It employs the theory of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and provides a lot of ready-to-use techniques. Thanks Ann Vernon!

What works with children and adolescents: A handbook of indvidual counseling techniques

This is by far one of the most practicul books I have purchased since starting my studies as a MFT. I know that this will help me further my career as a therapsit as it has lots of useful tools to use while working with clients. The book is for children and adolescents but I can see that it could be just as useful with adults. Great choice!!

Amazing resource

This is a really fantastic resource for counselors or therapists working with kids of all ages. There are lots of really simple yet profound activities that will help you reach that child you are working with.

A Book of Gems

It's hard to choose a book online, especially when you can't flip the pages and get a feel for the material. I am SO happy with this choice, however. There are great activities, transcribed counseling sessions with teenagers and interesting advice. A good book to have (and KEEP!) on the shelf in your counseling space.
