I ordered the book for use in a women's Bible study group. We will be starting to use it after January 1, 2010. However, I looked through the book when I received it and was very pleased with its condition, etc. I felt it was just as represented in the description before I purchased it. Thanks!!

Wonderful and Inspiring!

Lisa Harper is such a gifted communicator and she clearly does that in this book. She draws you in with her humor, her wisdom, her Bible knowledge and understanding, her vivid descriptions and discussion of how things were then and ties it in to how things are today. Lisa has a way of relating that draws the reader in. Lisa just gets better and better with each passing book that God inspires her to write. This one is no exception.I am truly blessed by this book and look to share it with others. Incredible Bible Teaching

Lisa Harper is the best bible study teacher I have read. She does a wonderful job of intertwining engaging stories with the truth of scripture. She has a way of revealing things in scripture that I had not noticed before. I love everything she has written, especially this book - What the Bible is all about for Women. MUST HAVE BOOK.

Lisa Harper has a way of making you connect and understand the bible through her relevant illustrations, funny stories and her obvious love and understanding of God's word. This book will capture your attention from the first paragraph and have you wanting to dig deep into His word. I would highly recommend this book for yourself and one for a friend.

Laugh and learn

Lisa Harper has a way of making you laugh while helping you learn more about the love of God. I am a young adult and this book is perfect to me because it relates personal stories and Hollywood movies to biblical stories. For once an author has been able to keep my attention while taking me through every book of the Bible. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
