Playtime with friends

A nice book about patience, compromise and also about fantasy and fun. A girl named Lily May is playing with friends, and even though they don't want to try the game she suggests, she still has fun... Finally they all do play her game -- playing fairies -- and they enjoy that as well. Nice, sweet, simple story.

Cute!

I read this book to a group of 2 and 3 year olds and they loved doing all the actions with the kids in the book. Little kids love to play lets pretend, and we expanded by thinking of other things they could pretend to be. The illustrations are totally cute and the text fits right in. I like how the letters are large and the text is next to the character who it pertains to.
