I loved the book. A very insightful and pragmatic way of looking at God and his existence in our everyday lives. Charles Arokiasamy did such a fantastic job of laying out the questions that we have all had, but never knew who to ask, or if it was appropriate to ask. His personal insight and education lend great credibility to his words. Thank you and I hope to see future publications.
Like a personal introduction to an approachable God

If I hadn't met the author I wouldn't have braved picking up a book with such a threatening title. But Dr. Arokiosamy taught my Intro. to Counseling course and I had developed a respect for him and an appreciation for his unique way of looking at the world. He can hold a paradox so gently in his hands that it settles down and allows us a comfortable inspection. This book removes the fear and resistance but leaves the love and encouragement in my own relationship with God. What a gift!
How to Be in Relationship With God
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 22 years ago
I found this book to be moving and thought provoking. I've read a number of books over the years on philosophy and theology with a hope of better understanding my feelings on religion and of God. This book was the first that gave God a voice and I found that voice to be open, authentic, and challenging. For me, the most beneficial aspect of the book was that it provided a reminder that I do have a dynamic and reciprocal relationship with God and that its ok to question and be angry (that is, to be authentic) with God if that is in fact how I truly feel.
