Must know information for homeowners

Without sensationalizing, this book does a great job of informing homeowners of the potential dangers of toxic mold. You'll learn, as I did, how to tell if you home has mold, how to tell if it is dangerous, where to turn for help, and how to get rid of it. It is well-researched, yet is easy to understand, and provides solid information. Toxic mold can destroy you and your family's health and it can cause severe damage to your home. But armed with this book, you should be able to head it off at the pass. Buy it, it's a great investment!!

Great Book

What a great homeowners book ! It not only provides critical information on household mold but also highlights potential problems with liability and home financing. Easy to read and yet has a wealth of technical information. If you are a homeowner or are considering a home I'd strongly recommend this book as the first purchase.

An Important Book on a Serious Subject

Among other causes, contemporary building materials and airtight construction have resulted in an explosion of mold contamination in both private homes and public buildings. Vicki Lankarge has clearly researched her subject thoroughly. Her very readable book provides timely and helpful information on assessing mold contamination and finding ways to deal with it--including useful sections on cleaning infestations and dealing with insurance companies, local authorities and state agencies.Lively writing, vivid examples, and concrete suggestions for dealing with mold and the problems it causes characterize this fine work.

A "MUST READ"

If you own a home or will be buying one soon, this book is a MUST READ! If not, your biggest asset may become your worst nightmare. The only way to avoid becoming a victim is knowing what to look for and doing something about it! Vicki Lankarge guides you through the maze so you can protect your family and home.

A Must Have for Every Homeowner

I would highly recommend Vicki's book! She is the 1st person that is not a mold victim, that has been able to capture the issue. This book is a must for every homeowner, property owner, and renter in the country! Thanks, Vicki for a truely wonderful book!
