Bright pictures and simple wording

This books introduces little ones to some common professions such as doctor, police officer, chef and construction worker. Each page has vibrant, active pictures in which the child can see different aspects of the job, such as with the mail carrier you can see how mail gets from grandma's house to granddaughter's house. The book itself is quite durable and the handle makes it easy to grab and take along.

Terrific book for teaching preschoolers about occupations.

This is an interesting and engaging book about what people do at their jobs. The simple descriptions and simple yet colorful pictures are just right for preschool age. My son is always asking for me to read this book to him, yet is also able to look at it himself and understand it without being able to read. It also has a a clip to hold it closed and a handle to carry it with him, so it's great for taking on car trips. Highly recommended!
