Really cool handmade toys and games

This is a really fun peek back to a time when kids in the city used their hands and imaginations to make their own toys with each other or alone....a great community center idea for getting kids interested in something other than shrink wrapped plastic garbage or lcd screens; activities that teach working together and instilling pride in what they've made and can play with. Great projects for family time, extra credit, and recycling. That's right, it's green!!! Worth checking this sweet book out! Even grown ups will enjoy either the nostalgia or the pleasure of putting something together.
