The Giant Animal Whales

A beautiful introduction for the young reader on the various species of whales. Each page is a different topic covering where they live, different kinds of whales, what they eat, how they communicate, migrate, the two groups of whales, how they take care of their young and other topics. Whales are near extinct. It also has helpful Glossary and Index. There are beautifil full page colored photographs with sub-titles. As a teacher it is great book for the early grades as a resource for Marine Life or the study of Whales.
