Good place to start and finish...

If you are going to buy one book on training this is it. Written in laymans terms yet comprehensive enough for a pro, Jack does an outstanding job getting his method across. One of the most respected horsemen of his era...influenced by many capable horsemen like Ray Hunt and Monte Foreman... no gimmicks and nothing to sell. He has managed to put a lifetime of experience about training horses in a very reasonably priced book. No BS here, just common sense and good technique.

A well written book!

Jack Brainard gives great advice when buying a western prospect, and training the horse. His many years of experience are certainly shown in this book!
