I was looking for a book that showed interesting places to visit.

Sadly, I didn’t realize this book was so far out of date. It was published in early 2000 and as it is now 2022 some of the short articles talk about places that you cannot get to or have burned down, etc. Also, it’s a large hardcover book and for a road trip I would’ve preferred a paper back. I also don’t find the writing very interesting.

I ordered Mich and got Wisconsin. Anyone know how I can got my home state of Mich? (Mind you I did need Wi as well.)

Weird Wisconsin

This book is really great, it covers so many "weird" places and things in Wisconsin, lots of which we have seen over the years. It covers haunted places and unusual places & has photos of most along with short stories documenting these places. I would recommend this book to anyone, its a fun book to read and a great reference book when travelling the back roads of Wisconsin to see some unusual and different places & things.

Good book, good price

A fun, entertaining, 'coffee table' book. Lots of short articles from places all over Michigan that have interesting and odd stories. Accurate from the standpoint of a few of the places I already knew about. Perfect for you or your guests to spend a few minutes browsing through, reading a few articles.

Great book!

This book is great. Gives a very different view of Michigan. Interesting information not found elsewhere. I want to go on a long road trip and see these places.

I thought it was cool. I had no idea how many places were haunted and such. I would definately buy more books of the same.
