THIS CHURCH SCHOOL RECORD BOOK is designed to enable secretaries to keep whatever records the school desires to preserve. All schools may not wish to keep all the information for which space is provided. However, the availability of full and accurate records can be of great value as the school periodically evaluates what has been done and projects plans for the future. It is therefore suggested that the following records should be kept by every school: 1. Roll of officers and teachers for the year. 2. Roll of pupils enrolled at the beginning of and during the year. 3. Week-by-week records, including: a. Weather conditions (for study of effect on attendance). b. Record of attendance and absences. c. Record of visitors. d. Participation of home department members. e. Record of offerings. 4. Record of curriculum materials used. IF A SCHOOL DESIRES TO KEEP INFORMATION other than that for which space is provided, a photocopied form may be inserted next to, or stapled to the page provided for each Sunday's record.
