Book Overview

The name has haunted my sleep and made my awake hours uneasy for as long as I can remember. Other children whisper that he is part man and part animal -- wild and blood-thirsty. But I know Weasel is real: a man, an Indian fighter the government sent to drive off the Indians -- to remove them. Weasel has his own ideas about removal...

Now that the Shawnees are dead or have left, Weasel has turned on the settlers. Like his namesake, the weasel,...

I liked this book because it is action packed. This book is about a boy named Nathan who comes face to face with evil.In the begining A man comes to their cabin door with their Pa's locket. OUTSTANDING BOOK FOR SIXTH GRADERS

As a sixth grade teacher I am always looking for books that both my girls and boys will enjoy. They LOVED Weasel! First it was a success because it is not a popular book so no one had already read it. It contains so much adventure the kids wanted to keep reading. The book is very well written and each chapter is a true cliffhanger. Instead of having to motivate my kids to read, I had to make them promise to ONLY read to a certain point so we could still make predictions. I will use this book every year!!

Weasel is a wonderful book!

Weasel is a mind boggling adventure story about a man and an enemy. Ezra, a man who formerly worked with Weasel, shows up at Nathan and Molly's cabin door. He is holding thier mothers locket in his hand. Why, you may ask, is something you must find out on your own. Ezra says nothing to them. Why doesn't he speak? You'll also have to figure that out for yourself by reading the book. Cynthia DeFelice keeps you on the edge of your seat with this book. Its full of surprises you would never expect to encounter. I suggest this book to anyone that is in need of an adventure story.
