I found Wayfarers of Fate to be an especially

I found Wayfarers of Fate to be an especially balanced view of the Spanish Civil War, It is inspiring and depressing at the same time, as are all finely detailed novels of war, I highly recommend it to all who enjoy an exciting read, Jose Lopez Banning CA

Disagree with the other two reviewers

Though I may agree a bit with the first reviewer concerning the "tele-novela" feel of the book, I did not think that the POLITICS came out as strong as that reviewer implies. I thought the author attempted to give a fairly balanced view, showing the atrocities on BOTH sides that ended "La Segunda Republica" of Spain. The "tele" feel, to me, just makes it a little more accessible to a younger audience that has grown up with the new medium of television. And that's the generation that needs to be exposed to EVEN mid-20th century history ("ancient history" to them?): making it fictional just makes it a little easier to swallow... Specially since it must have been a horrendous time for any one to live through! I myself am too young, but growing up in Spain I did meet locals who recalled those DARK days!
