Excellent book

Joseph Benner is definitely the most enlightened and advanced soul I've come across. All his books contain raw, undiluted wisdom from the highest. Throughout his writing, Benner often falls into 'God Consciousness' mode, and allows God to speak through him in First Person. As a result the book oozes pure wisdom, and provides great nutrients for the soul. So rich are the nutrients, a number of reads over a long period of time is what it takes for them to fully digest. In this book, Benner discloses a deep spiritual truth - amongst many other pearls - a truth which many people are now becoming aware of, and one that more and more authors, whose psychic faculties are opening, share: Everything we face in life, including all our trials and tribulations, are of our own choosing, not God's. Our Higher Self freely chooses to incarnate on earth as many times as it likes, in order to face challenges and trials which don't exist in the Spirit World. A good way to interpret the nature of our short lives on earth is to perceive them as quick trips to the gym, which advance spiritual strength and growth. For each trip to earth, we choose our own bodies, we choose the timing of our incarnation, we choose the conditions of our upbringing and the challenges we face. The greater the physical challenge, the greater potential for spiritual advancement. Hence, disabled bodies, for example, are actually blessings in disguise. To me, the following words from Benner sum up such high teachings : "For you who are truly seeking the Kingdom, the time has come to hear certain truths, to see if your Higher Self deems you ready to receive and accept these truths and to make them a part of your soul consciousness. If so they will bring to you an illumination of understanding that will quicken your soul, free your mind from what has been holding you back perhaps for many lifetimes, and will consequently now permit you speedily to proceed on your journey." Benner continues, "But if you are not yet ready to accept these truths it is well, for your Higher Self has certain necessary experiences in store for you, from which He will be enabled later to teach you to accept them and to want to follow us on our way to the Kingdom." I also recommend Benner's books `The Way Out', `Brotherhood', and `The Impersonal Life'. This is fantastic stuff. Not everyone's cup of tea, but if you're ready, these books are the bee's knees. Benner's books were written in the early 1900's, which shows that he was way ahead of his time.

You can be free of all lack now and forever

This book continues where "Impersonal Life" and "The Way Out" left off. It takes you even deeper, through more amazing meditations, in attempt to impress firmly upon your mind that in the state of Oneness, there cannot be any lack, that you already are and have everything and that by accepting this truth about yourself, by aligning your conscious and subconscious mind with your superconscious mind, so to speak, you will forever be free from any lack. And it goes on to say that once you are fully committed to the spiritual path, you will be given your special mission, a way in which you can assist others. I have read this book many, many years ago, but the truth of these words became etched upon my mind (I read the book many times over) and I have lived to witness the truth of the words in this book. Now I know, and so will you if you read it carefully and meditate upon its words until they become firmly etched upon your own mind.
