The Next Best Thing to Being There

Maynard Bray has pulled together some wonderfull materials to augment this catalogue of the Mystic Seaport Museum collection, including pictures and prints galore. Finally, examples of small craft that are shown in picture form as well as plan form. One only wishes that the museum could find funds to update their first edition a little more completely with a current publication (The first edition was done in '79, the second in '86.). Still, for those who are frustrated by the dearth of material in print concerning small craft, this book is engagingly deliteful, and good for many page-turning hours.
