I had had this book on my wish list for several months, but finally found it on sale at Hobby Lobby. This is the second of Dana's books to help us learn how to conquer watercolor. I love this. It is a excellent way to build your confidence. On one page is Dana's picture and the instructions on how to paint the creature. On the other page is the faint gray outline of whatever creature she has painted. All you have to do is apply paint. This gives practice with wet-on-wet application, wet-on-dry application, and watercolor washes over ink drawings. The paper is good quality, and you end up with an adorable collection of water creatures!
