A great book!

Well, I'm a 16 years old girl from Norway. The reson why I read this book is because in my class we had to read a book and afterwords we had to write a review of it. So, I went down to the school library, there I took the first book I could find... But I have to say that this book was great! It shows how the jews lived and felt it during the second world war, and I have learnd so much from it! I highly recomand this book for all ages, but it requires that you know something about 2. wordwar...

Simply Brilliant

This book - the whole series, in fact, are so filled with power it is amazing. It convicted me, inspired me, and moved me. I read a lot of books, and I mean a lot, but very few are in the calibre this book is in. The characters are very real and the way in which they relate to one another makes you feel as though you are a part of the action. I became so involved that at the end of the book I felt as though I had lost many friends. The writing style itself flows smoothly, never feeling stilted or cheap. The story-line was exciting, and the historical detail is so wound up in the story it becomes difficult to separate the two. All in all, I'd recommend this book to anyone, and I am sure that I will read it again and again and again.

Fantastic series -- want more!

I too love the Zion Covenant series. They are among some of the best books I have read about the era leading up to and during World War II. I, too, want to know what happened to the characters. I understand the new "Jerusalem Vigil" book tells what happens to them in 1948, but what about the interim? What about the most exciting and event-filled years -- those from 1939 until the war ended in 1945? I'd like to read what happened to them THEN. Please, Brock and Bodie Thoene, fill in the blanks for your characters during that time period!

One of the best books ever written

Like the reader from Nevada I want to know more about what happens to all the characters I came to love and know really well. Now you can find out what happens to all these people by reading Bodie Thoene's new book Jerusalem Vigil. It tells what happens to Jacob and Lori, Lucy and her baby and the other characters like Alfie. If you read the Zion Chronicles it tells you what happens to Rachel and Yocav. I hope you find this helpful.

The end of a great series!

This book was the final book in the series (Zion Chronicles). After finishing this book, and the other 5, I wish the author could have continued...I want to know what happened to Jacob and Lori!! I want to know if Murphy and Elisa get to America. What happened to Lucy's baby? Does she get to raise him? My only frustration is that I can only guess and imagine what happens to these dynamic characters I've come to know and love while reading this series. I enjoyed the historical setting and appreciate the depth of each character. I look forward to reading more of the books by this author!
