Revelation and Prophecy.

In WARNING! REVELATION IS ABOUT TO BE FULFILLED the author offers some interesting theories about what and who Babylon is. I don't necessarily agree with his theory, but it is interesting! I disagree with the notion that the Messiah rose on a Sunday. The most relevant quote in the book was Mark 16:9, and that passage is not translated consistently in various Bibles. The Holman Christian Standard being one that does not openly state that he arose on that day. Regardless, that does not weaken the case for the seventh day Sabbath that Mr. Wilson makes. He explains the difference between atonement, restitution, and forgiveness. On observing the seventh day Sabbath he has a statement that I can personally identify with. "The devil has made sure that Saturday observance puts a person at odds with the social and religious orders of life. The observance of Sabbath interrupts every aspect of life. This is why God created the Sabbath in the first place. Jesus wanted to interrupt man's relentless pursuit of money and pleasure every week with a whole day of rest." From page 81. On page 83 he discusses worship- "The call to worship Him as He dictates will separate the sheep from the goats." Mr. Wilson also provides an interesting theory on interpreting Daniel's prophecies. His 4 rules for interpreting prophecy are sensible and thought-provoking. Larry W. Wilson writes with no denominational bias or doctrine. Another impressive aspect of the author is his humility and open mind. This book is quite interesting and worth reading!
