War of the Wills: What if they don't like the Will?

"I've made a will giving you half of everything that I own and the other half to my daughter, Beryl" my dying partner Allen told me. Beryl was infuriated. "I want the Lot " She stated. Knowing that her considerable wealth acquired from her mother's estate would make a legal challenge unsuccessful she needed to try other tactics to get her own way. Beryl and her husband Wayne utilised subtle and blatant intimidation tactics, delaying court action and suspected fraud to deny me my share of his estate. May and I bonded over shared interests, and Allen is delighted to have someone accompany him to livestock sales and with his property maintenance duties that May doesn't enjoy doing. The three of us spend a great deal of time together, until May dies as a result of heart problems. Allen relies more and more on me to help him keep his life in order.Eventually we decide to live together. It is a partnership forged from mutual affection and mutual need. We are very happy together until Allen's health begins to fail and he is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. As his physical and mental states worsen, I took on the responsibility for running his farms and paying his bills, making out the checks and allowing him to sign them.Allen's only daughter and her husband, Beryl and Wayne Bilk, are less than thrilled about the situation but allow it to continue, as it keeps them from having to deal with Allen's failing health and his care needs. However, when Allen leaves a sizeable portion of his estate to me in his will and the Bilks get word of it, they begin plotting and haranguing the ill and increasingly frail Allen to leave everything to them.As Allen's mental state worsens, he makes will after will, but the one constant in all of them is that he leaves an inheritance to me in love and appreciation for our nineteen years together and my devoted efforts to making his last years comfortable and happy.Desperate, the Bilks devise a plan to ensure they get what they want---a new will allegedly, made and signed by an almost comatose Allen three weeks before his death. Upon his death, with so many wills in existence and both parties at odds over who should get what, the estate is tied up in court for years.
