The book is well written by reknown authors from some of the most respected institutes of our time including Harvard and Oxford University. The topics are well-organized by chapters. Authors present subject matter with a global perspective of war and public health, yet the lessons taught are readily applicable to local public health and emergency services. Additionally, legal, ethical, and historical perspectives accompany topics. This is a book whose time has come.
