Wanted: A Girl for the Horses is about a young girl Charlotte Randolph at the age of fi fteen Charlotte is suspended and becoming a girl groom. After finally arriving at Exeside Manor she is bitterly welcomed by Lady Anges. Even though Lady Anges is old she is commanding and strict but her husband the Brigadier is quite the opposite he is warm and kindly to Charlotte. Being a groom wasn't as flattering as Charlotte thought waking every morning before the sun came up to feed, water, and clean the three horses in her charge plus the ponies out in the field was at first over whelming for Charlotte. But as the months went by Charlotte became use to the work and grew fond of a solid black gelding pony in the field. Soon it was fox season and Charlotte would ride second on Kandy wile Briggy (or the Brigadier) was in font hunting fox. Charlotte's job was the hold Kandy back so when Briggie's horse got tiered they would switch and charlotte would ride Briggie's horse back to the Manor and groom him. After almost a year later Charlotte gets a letter asking her to come to Marborough Park to care for the horses there. This book is finely detailed it gives you a vived picture of what is happening. In this book it is a swirl of emotions. This book is for people of all ages who enjoy an exciting and adventures. This book I think will last throught the ages.
