Very interesting and informative

Prof Colbert writes a good story explaining the theory of continental drift (now known as plate tectonics). The distributions of various early animals are explained by continental drift and the changing relationships among the continents over time. Conversely, the diverse locations of the fossils of the same animals on different continents confirm the drifting of the continents over time. This book is easy to read and is very comprehensive in its scope and is well illustrated.
